I blame the loss on Nagy. The team flew over on Friday, FRIDAY!?!? Are you kidding me. How are you not gonna let your players adjust to the time change. One to two days in not enough. They came out sluggish in the first half. Gruden had his team their Monday. After playing last year in London, gruden, who had his team arrive on Friday for a Sunday game, said it was a mistake he’ll never make again. The raiders did lose that game.

Also this was a game the bears needed to have with their upcoming schedule. Difference between 4-1 and 3-2 is drastic. It’s early but they needed that one.

especially with how well the saints have been playing with our Brees

I think I agree, it's just whether you value guys sleeping in their own bed for a week or getting acclimated to the new city more. The thing is, with the bye week, you'd have plenty of time to readjust as well.

I'm going to do my best to not make the same mistake I made with the Cubs this year and dramatically reduce my expectations and accept the fact that this is an average at best team. Turns out the Daniel isn't the Bears savior after all. Daniel had two brutal interceptions and yet I still don't know if I would have rather had dumbo Mitch out there- this says about all you need to know about the offense. 52 must have been out late Saturday night drinking tea and eating crumpets because he played some incredibly uninspiring football for a guy trying to show up his old team. The Bears might have had jet lag so this game shouldn't count!! :/

Is there anything better than listening to Ronny and ole Pat Hughes call a game on a nice summer day??

No, nothing better. Ronny is kind of sounds drunk all of the time, though. We'll get into radio more next week though.

I'm willing to bet the Raiders spent the entire week game planning for Mack specifically so he wouldn't embarrass them. If winning the game was their first priority, containing Mack had to have been 1b. I'm not sure anymore if Mack has bad games or just the other team has a good enough game plan to keep him relatively quiet.

The NFL has gotta cut the shit with these London games. If you told me bears would score 21 early in the week I would have penciled in a W. The bears have 0 identity on offense right now.

I don't get to hear him often, but listening to Jeff Joniak call a bears game is a real treat.

Joniak shouldn't even have a partner in the booth, but we'll cover radio next week.

Bears showing up on Friday while the Raiders were there 3-4 days before them really showed. Defense looked extremely slow but i don't think we can fault them completely...they are going to have some poor games, we can't rely on them every week to bail out the offense. Also, what happened to our O-Line this year?? They're god awful.

Benetti and Steve Stone are at the top for me, they make shitty White Sox games entertaining which is an extremely tough task.

No doubt Stone and Benetti are a top tier pair in the MLB.

And that's what's funny, everyone is getting on the Bears' D. I mean, come on. They let up 24 points and the Raiders had great field position on a few of those drives. They were also on the field the entire first half. Still have to find a way to win that game.
