Andrew, get a head start on early retirement with a Bulls’ over and Bears’ under parlay. If you don’t like parlays, just pound the Bears’ under. Everything you wrote was true comparing last year’s team to the current group but you failed to mention the difficulty of their schedule. Unfortunately, it’s going to be a very long year, in my opinion. I really enjoy the newsletter. Keep it up- JJ

Alright let me break it down for you. I want Justin Fields to be the starter week 1- plain and simple. But how on earth did Pope just know how to operate that crane on the cruise ship? And what was he possibly thinking trying to drop that giant cross in the water? Rafe has some slept on core strength holding that thing up by the rope.

John B needed to finish the job with Ward on that cruise ship. As soon as Sarah gave him the nod, he needed to give him one last crack in the head and toss him overboard. Not that it would have done anything for them now being stranded on an island, but it would've given them all a little piece of mind. Glad they were able to catch fish and start a fire so quickly. I imagine a perfectly placed fresh water source is in their near future.

Friedell is a moron. I think with the exception of the Nets, Bucks, 76ers and Celtics, the Bulls are right there. I'm lower on the Hawks and Knicks being able to replicate last years success. I will be hammering over 42.5, and will also bet they're off the island by the end of Season 3 episode 2 (hypothetically or course, if I did watch the show).

So much to say, it was a Lincoln book but the quotes were about John Brown and Stephen Douglas as well. I will never watch a football game calmly, preseason or regular.

I do believe, after Joe had eaten all of Grandma Mary's pizza, he ran and got her some more just to alleviate his guilt.

The Bears, holy shit where do I start? I have been saying for three years, and Andrew knows this, that Nagy IS THE PROBLEM! Say what you will about Trubisky but every time we were behind and you took his Nagy handcuffs off, he looked decent if not capable. Now, in a good system with a good offense, he literally kicked our ass sideways. They say stats lie and that is true. He had a couple of big drops and two completions were forced out at the 1/2 yard line or else he would have thrown for 4 touchdowns IN THE FIRST HALF. I was literally cheering for him as I watched our poorly run team fall apart. Andy Dalton, who was once a good QB looks suspiciously a lot like Trubisky in Nagy's system. Not to mention the complete unraveling of all facets of the game. Did we have four false starts? Blocked extra point? Punt return for a touchdown(which you could see coming on each return)? Poor tackling? And to top it all off, no fighting spirit. How do you let someone decapitate your QB and no one even confronts the guy?!? Not even a push or a threat? Good god this NEVER gets fixed until Nagy is gone.

Wait, did the Bears select a damaged product thinking they were going to get a steal? That is all they do. Every year.

Lastly, should FIelds start? Every QB needs experience more than anything. You might as well get it this year and hope asshole gets fired. No other organization would have kept him around after last year. And his built in excuse just came into town and shoved a football up Nagy's ass.
