Trade DeRozan, he is the problem. Not through any fault of his own but the game has changed and he doesn't fit in the new game. Also, isn't there a clause for the situation the Bulls are in with Lonzo Ball? He will never play NBA Basketball again. Can they pay him out and get him off the books and use that cap space? You will not get the right value in a trade for Lavine and thinking you are going to draft someone better is a pipe dream. How about coaching and developing him. I saw a better player once Pat Bev told him how good he was and told him to takeover.

I am still strongly in the corner of David Ross. I think he develops people. I think Hoyer has told him to err on the side of development over winning this season. Since they are ignoring Stroman, they are clearly dealing him. Which should explain their approach to the whole year.

I need football in a bad way. Can't wait and can't wait to see what the Bears look like with SOME talent.

Yes, there are multiple clauses for the Lonzo situation, the Bulls are either too incompetent/lazy/or dumb to have figured that out by now. They should be able to have the majority of his contract to not be counted against the cap.

PatBev had nothing to do with LaVine's spurt at year-end. His best year was a few years ago before he had gotten there. Zach doesn't need to be developed. He's almost 30. He's great. But there is no other way out of this situation. DeRozan won't net you a great return, he has one year left on his deal.

If you're a manager and you accept a front office person telling you "to develop over win," you shouldn't be around anyway. I don't think that's true, though. But if that's what you think, that probably shows that Ross' approach has been bad at times.

Okay. I see you are a little spicy this morning. Lets go!

Zach was at his best BEFORE DeRozan got there and all of you weak basketball minded people told DeRozan how great he was and Zach started deferring to DeRozan. Then we slid into mediocrity.

Have you seen Moneyball? Who do you think is in charge?

Dinner at Carmine's says you will have changed your tune on him by end of season.
