I once attended an Indiana Basketball Kick Off Banquet. Bobby Knight spoke for 30 minutes or so and then he said it was time for questions BUT he said "It's time for questions but I will warn you that if you ask a dumb question, I am going to tear your a-- up!" That is what Andrew just said to me in his introduction.

Yes, I do not fully blame Eberflus although I weakened in my position this past week. I will still say that 80+% of the problem with this team is that they have the WORST Offensive Line in the NFL, just like last year. It bothers me that Golden Boy Poles gets a pass on what is truly making this team struggle. You cannot judge Williams behind that line and you cannot expect growth behind that line.

The defense broke down while missing three of their four best players including their run stopper, Brisker! Can someone explain to me why he is still out? The guy he knocked out came back three weeks ago. Tua, who should never play again came back sooner than him? What the heck is going on.?

No moves at the trade deadline, Poles, what the heck is going on? You couldn't outmaneuver Detroit for Zedarius Smith with a 7th round pick. No OLinemen available?

Bad organizations change coaches too much. Eberflus's first year is a throw away.

Jaquan Brisker also... played the rest of that game! The Bears (or the NFL) should be investigated for that. Played the rest of the game, and yet is still out from a concussion a month later. But you can't slap a QB on the helmet (player safety).

I agree with standing still. Don't throw away future capital for a team that is highly unlikely to make a dent in the playoff race. And, as I wrote before, I think the real offensive line fixes are coming this offseason. The past offseason was still patch work (without sacrificing the future). I still like what Poles is done, and I see the vision. But everyone deserves heat coming their way right now.

The Bears shouldn't outbid the Lions for anyone in this season, though.

Bad organizations change coaches too much does not equal "let's keep a bad coach because we fire too many."

Also, lets not kid ourselves. After watching Hard Knocks, do we really think Waldron was Eberflus's decision or Poles? Seems to me that Poles is pulling the strings heavily.

Keep going... You think Poles had autonomy to hire a new coach last offseason? No chance. You think a new OC wants to come to a place where the head coach could get fired in the coming seasons? No. If Poles was pulling strings from the start, we'd be in a better spot.
