I gotta say - that Onion comment is GOLD.

Re: Fields - he could be an awesome NFL running back or slot receiver. Just don’t see him being the first OSU quarterback to have big time success in the league. Would be happy to be proven wrong though. Feels like the Bears are running a college offense to get the most out of him.

Great writing - keep it up!

Thank you for reading, first of all.

Let's say this, though: If Justin Fields doesn't make the Pro Bowl next year (only his third in the league), I will get you a brand new Miami OH pullover.

But before that, I'll be marking my calendar for the Board of Adjustment hearing on December 22 at 9:30 AM at the Green Lake County Government Center!

Lets be clear. Russell Westbrook is a bad team basketball player, Carmelo Anthony is a bad Team basketball players and there are a half dozen more that your generation has loved who all fall under the "25 pts/10 rebounds/ 5 assists and, oh yeah, a loss" category. The same applies to some of your running QB's. Mobility is important but the instant desire to run is not. What the Bears coaches have done is utilize his running ability to give the defenses more to worry about. That has opened up other opportunities and taken pressure off of Fields and as he gets less pressure his confidence grows.

2022 - Stafford, 2021 Brady, 2020 Mahomes(mobile not a runner), 2019 Brady, 2018 Foles, 2017 Brady, 2016 Manning, 2015 Brady, ..............YOU HAVE TO HAVE A POCKET PASSER TO WIN IN THE PLAYOFFS!

Add that to your list because you forgot a thousand others I was right about.

Fields prefers to throw from the pocket. Once they fix the line, he can rely on that more easily.

I can’t believe there are still people out there putting blame on Justin fields for the loss last week. Some are so quick to point out the interception he threw, a mistake that is common for all young QBs and one that I can pretty confidently say he won’t make again, but forget all about his 4 touchdowns. Putting up 30 points and somehow catching blame is truly idiotic. The refs continue to screw us out of games, but we couldn’t get a 3rd down stop to save our lives in the second half.

After the dolphins loss a couple weeks ago I found myself leaning, like I was stumbling out of a bar at 2am after harassing my friend for not buying me a drink, towards the “who cares if we lose, fields looks great” side. But I agree that this lions loss was different. Learning how to win is also a huge piece of a young teams development and a game that you’re up 2 touchdowns going into the 4th needs to be closed out.

He also said that it WOULD NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. If he throws another pick-6, I'll have to hold it to him and chain myself naked outside of Halas Hall until they put in whoever the back-up is then.

The refereeing has been awful. Should have mentioned that about the prior two weeks. Your last sentence was put perfectly.

"You should have worn an extra layer to the Cubs/Bears game- its chillier by the lake front" is an all time snub.

I hate that I'm kind of in the "who cares if we win camp". I am entering the phase of the season where I root for a win, don't necessarily mind a loss if Justin looks good. This is also under the assumption that the roster looks very different next season.

Re: knockdown shooter. It seems every team we play has one (or multiple) of these guys that torture us?? In recent games alone: Trey Murphy went 5-6 from 3. MPJ went 6-9. FVV 6-10. When can one of ours do that? Also concerning that the only game where opponents did shoot poorly, the first Pels game, we couldnt close it out (also an all time bad ref game but still).

.....Caruso may have found his shot in the Corner 3???????????????

LETS GO BULLS

Man... an all-time snub there with it's chillier on the lake front. My Dad is about 5-0 against me on that all time.

I check Bojan Bogdanović's stats every single night. Look what he did last night. It's a travesty we don't have a guy like that on our team.

To that list, add Buddy Hield, Georges Niang, and Kevin Love.

Sounds good. I’m a large. Extra large if they run small.

Nice to see your generation taking an interest in local politics 🙂.
