Every week it feels like I scream about this team until I am blue in the face and come Thursday im sucked back in drinking the Matt Nagy Kool Aid thinking it will be different this week. -why would Sean Payton not run off more time there in the event of a miss at the end? Obviously unlikely but still dumb to me.

I don’t have much to say about La Russa, but Reinsdorf’s rationale is pretty funny. Something along the lines of “When you get a chance to get one of the best Managers in the history of the game, you don’t balk at it”
If La Russa didn’t work out, who was next? Tommy Lasorda is a 2 time World Series champ! Who cares if he’s 95- the guy is an all time great!
