I have not yet watched the Blackhawks, but I have googled the score to both games as they were going on, which is a step towards all out fair weather fandom for me.
This is your best work yet. I say this confidently, knowing I've read maybe 0.01% of all you've put out there. It may well be the best prose I've ever read, and I've read a lot. Mostly poems, true.

I am not suggesting that we don't try to win the game. I am just trying to manage the expectations of these weak fans who will be losing their minds if they lose and demanding we trade Fields, fire Poles and fire Eberflus before the next game.
