First and Foremost, THE SKRINES do Chops like no one else. Really miss the restaurant!

I am completely happy losing every game if we are competitive. Lets load up some draft picks and get some free agents in here. There are all kinds of ex-early draft picks who will tell you about the PTSD they developed by playing behind a horrible line. It causes you to change your behavior.

I think Billy Donovan is a really good coach but without Lavine presenting another scoring threat, teams will not let DeMar do that as the season goes on.

I keep saying the same thing re: DeMar, and he keeps proving everyone wrong. Plus, the 9 assists goes to show how easy it will be to pass out of that and generate scoring opportunities for others.

Re: past QBs in bad situations, 100%! It's a make-or-break proposition.

I think you covered anything I want to say about the Bears.

The Zach piece sucks. Completely agree that its apparent when he plays semi-injured. The difference of him being aggressive at the rim and bailing out the defense on a deep step back 2. Him and Lonzo's three shooting is missing from the Bulls offense. I know we made a decent amount of threes but all of them kind of swirled around the rim and looked like the basketball was unsure if it wanted to go in.

Ayo is just so awesome. In one game it even felt like I saw in improvement in court vision from last year. Having the defensive prowess of him, Caruso, Javonte, and hopefully Ball coming back in a few months is a winning recipe. Pwill did zero positive things in game 1. Only thing I will say is he had an aggressive take when we needed a bucket in the 4th.

100%, there's no chance, unfortunately, that the Bulls shoot as well as they did from the second quarter on Wednesday moving forward. Two nagging injuries for their best, volume three-point shooters. It's a bummer and a problem.

Was doing some research the other day to see who will be free agents this offseason in the NFL. Keep in mind, I am extremely ignorant to the management process of sports teams. What stuck out were the lack of talented receivers, but a lot of offensive lineman. I have heard the Bears have close to, if not the most money to spend this off season. What do we think about signing at least 2 OL free agents, drafting a 1st round receiver, and then grabbing some defenders. DJ Moore is talented, but ever since I saw the video of Steve Smith asking Cam Newton if he should start DJ Moore with DJ Moore standing right there, I have hated him. Zero balls. I would also worry that the Bears would be content with Moore/Mooney and not take a 1st round WR when I think that is an absolute necessity.

I completely agree with this take and it is something I have been talking about over the last few weeks. Draft the WR position (sign players around edges there), sign OL (don't have to wait for another project to come together). Obviously you can draft OL still in latter rounds if need be. D.J. Moore, at this point, may just be a rash move. I agree there, too.
