I wasn't worried about Ryan Pace being an asshole tonight until reading this, so thank you. I appreciate that this guy is all about conviction, but my god does this guy have some bad conviction. I watched a video the other day of him talking about conviction drafting Trubisky, and he's talking about "head scout's number one quarterback, OC's number one quarterback, blah blah blah I'm Ryan Pace I'm a douche." But the whole time, everyone in the room still looked nervous. He looked like he was the only one happy with drafting this guy. Just the opinion from a fly on the wall.

I've been seven round mock drafting for the Bears for the better portion of the last two months (https://thedraftnetwork.com/mock-draft-machine), and from my experience I think we gotta trade down. I haven't loved the drafts I've put together while I sell software on the side. Let's get a couple o-lineman in the middle rounds, piece the rest together as we go. And we need to draft Geno Stone out of the beautiful University of Iowa. Sure-fire late round pick if I've ever seen one.

I need you to reply with a mock so you enter yourself in the contest.

Sell software on the side hahaha. That is what I'm talking about!

This is really great stuff, man. Since I don't know shit about ass when it comes to this year's draft, I am going to have to take a pass on this week's thread. I'll be ready next week with hot takes from episodes 3 and 4 of The Last Dance.

Sounds like its my turn. I think the bears should play this draft "conservative" and by that I mean they should draft 2 QBs before any other position is taken. 1st pick should be Eason, then Nate Stanley. Why? its so obvious, to bring competition to the locker room for Trubisky. All he needs it more competition, and what a better way than bring in 2 MORE prodigy QBs out of elite schools.

Ive also read some comments below saying "I love Kevin Toilver" wow real original. You cant just quote the GM and act like this what you've been feeling all along.

The bears could've signed Marquise Lee and that would've removed the option having to take a WR. So many options.

FOR ANYONE WHO DOES NOT KNOW: Khalil Mack is our FIRST ROUND, THURSDAY NIGHT PICK!

Nate Stanley scored a 40 on the Wonderlic. Iowa education.

Kevin Toliver comment was directed at me, I don’t appreciate that. Pace said he is “excited” about Toliver meanwhile he goes out and signs tre Roberson. This is also the guy who said Mitch will he our started next season, at the end of last year. That guy is full of shit. I have been on Toliver since day 1!

I didn't even see you down there. Lmao what's the weather like at the bottom of the thread. WALKING JOKE. Now that im reading your comment its making this worse. You want a nice 2nd round OL? just so he can get demoralized by DE? Now youre talking Notre Dame, and they pump out Tight Ends. I would love to draft Kmet to be a tier 3 tight end and give the bears a reason to never shop around for another 5 years cuz they settle with this man. Get off the high horse, Jake!

In Werner's defense, we have a former FCS defensive end playing right guard right now so I think drafting a lineman is the most logical thing to do

Cack why don't you let go of Werner's ankles and stand up straight for once!

Now it's Werner's defense not Chuck Pagano's, huh?

Call me crazy, but I love Kevin Tolliver. When he had to fill in for prince last year he did a fantastic job. Artie Burns also has shown some promise in his young career. I’ve heard he has some attitude problems which is a bit worrisome if that was able to show in Pittsburgh with Tomlin who is one of the best ego managers in the game. I’d rather see us take a lineman with our first pick in the second and the tight end from notre dame with our other pick in the 2nd. I can’t stand notre dame but they pump out good tight end talent. Geno stone has to be on our radar in the 4th round. The pairing with him and Eddie Jackson would be lethal and I think he would be just as effective as Adrian Amos was. Let that guy come up make some tackles while Eddie is back there patrolling the deep part of the field. I also think we need another running back David Montgomery showed potential last year and Tarik Cohen showed us he can’t be 2nd RB. That’s all I got, BEAR DOWN!

I'm not going to call you crazy. I like him too. He made a valiant effort, and I'm not using Amare Cooper beating him a few times as a marker.

Running back, first I've heard that. Interesting. I wouldn't waste a pick on one.

I want the Bears to take a shot at Antoine Winfield Jr. from Minnesota in the second round. He doesn't have the measurables of a first round pick, but has the ballhawking abilities that you see in someone like- Nathan Vasher, Honey Badger, Eddie Jackson. That isn't a prediction, that is just a want.

Other than that, I want linemen from the Big ten, athletes from the Mac, and maybe a linebacker from the SEC.
