I am weary of anyone returning Mid March. That literally gives you a couple of games to get back into the flow and for Billy to work out his rotations. BUT, everything is about defense. In the playoffs, everything slows down. Every possession is an important one. It is a different game in the playoffs. Thompson will help but I am tired of seeing guards penetrate the lane incessantly. Really need Lonzo for his defense and three point shooting.
Let's say we get Caruso and Ball (or at least ball) back by, conservatively, March 24th. That still leaves us 10 games of the regular season. That's the sweet spot.
I'm someone who was okay trading Coby White at the beginning of the season. Now I'm eating my words, we are so fortunate to have him as a spark plug of the bench. As my father who loves referencing the 89 Pistons says, that is an important piece for a championship team and Vinnie Johnson doesn't get enough credit as the 'Microwave'. Also kind of forgot how young Coby is before seeing he turned 22 the other day. Guy is a senior in college.
I'm way too excited about the Tristan Thompson signing. a) its hilarious that any girl who finds out that he is on the Bulls will become immediately more engaged b) We so desperately need some big Defensive help when Vuc isn't on the floor c) as you eluded to- he tortured the Bulls in 2015. Also a hilarious thing that doesn't get talked about is that he switched which hand he shoots free throws with halfway through his professional career. All I need is 10-12 minutes of hard nosed D from him a night (when we're healthy).
Now we have our playoff roster once we get healthy.
Lonzo-Lavine-Demar-PWilly-Vuc
Ayo-Coby-Javonte-DJJ-Tristan Thompson
TBJ-Tony Bradley-Matty Ice-Tyler Cook for when we're up 25+ with 6 minutes to go.
I wouldn't want to face a healthy bulls team in the playoffs.
I'm not into sports, but I AM into your intros ... Good stuff😂
Thanks for reading!

The Microwave! What an underrated nickname.
Chuck Mac, I think PWilly needs to earn his way back. That spot is Caruso or Green for me.
I somehow omitted Caruso when typing that out. Even more depth!
