To clarify, the leg injury was a rug burn from lunging out of bed and dipping down low like a defensive end for the contact. Also, you forgot the large white glass decorative bowl which fell off of the top of the armoire on my head..... I moved quickly but the assailant apparently got away.

When you say the Bears are in one of the worst financial positions I sit and wonder who in good god's name that money is tied up in? I will sit down and watch the draft with the same anxiety I have when Instagram shows me some young girl getting up on a bar to dance.

Lastly, if you Sox fans don't tear Giolito a new asshole for 1) saying he "isn't a morning person" after the Patriots Day beating and 2) "I had little left in the tank" throwing his manager under the bus when he failed last night, then you need your "South Side" card pulled.

Ive got a lot of dirty laundry to air out. Let start here, I dont think I have ever been this unexcited for an NFL Draft since I gained consciousness and became a Bears fan. The logical thing for the Bears to do would be stay where they're at and Draft a lineman to bolster up one of the worst lines in football, but logic gets thrown out the window with the Bears. I love the idea of them drafting a qb in the middle rounds while still fixing the weak spots. If the QB doest work out then we're 4-12 football team and will be primed for a high draft pick, while still filling holes with young talent. In no way shape or form is this a playoff contender, regardless of the man under center.

Yeah, completely agree here. Could not be less excited for anything Bears this year -- the draft, press conferences, the season, etc. The right move now is probably to have the most boring draft possible (trading back, drafting lineman, etc). I just don't think we see the team in the same lens at the front office does.

No matter who AK47 took in the draft at 4 for the Bulls, I was going to talk myself into it being a great pick and find my way to be overly excited about it. Fast forward- No matter what Pace and the Bears do this weekend, I am going to talk myself into it being a terrible move. So done with this front office. (That being said if we somehow got our paws on Justin Fields I am ALL the way back in).

MASSIVE win over the Heat on Monday. Theis played an incredible offensive game which his stats suggest, but was also great on the defensive end. Thought it was interesting that Billy closed out most of the game with Lauri-Vuc-Theis on the floor at the same time trusting Coby and Temple to take care of the ball. There were almost two bad turnovers by them to close it out (Thank god for the Jimmy missed layup). Excited for tonight, going to feel weird rooting against 3 of my favorite humans of all time in Taj, Derrick and Thibs.

BTW I am a large but like my shirts a little tighter on the sleeves to make my arms look bigger.

If Pace takes Fields I'm reading every article I can get my hands on about his 2nd and 3rd read woes and how he's not really a great teammate.

I think the bigger lineup is, again, a virtue of roster issues. Without Brown Jr. and LaVine, the guards on the team are downright terrible. Great move by Donovan to find a viable closing lineup with what he's got at his disposal.

As good as it is to hear that Ted and George will not let Pace mortgage the future on this draft, it just goes to show how dumb of a situation this team is in. I understand it's a prove it year, but ownership restricting the GM's ability to do their job goes to show that Pace shouldn't have the job anymore. Good organizations (which the Bears certainly are not) trust their GM to not be reckless. Only thing we can hope for on Thursday is that Pace doesn't do anything stupid.

Denzel Valentine will never stop amazing me. His overall lack of situational awareness is incredible. The fact that the Bulls win basketball games with him getting minutes is a positive sign. Looking forward to the long overdue watch party. I'll take a large shirt!

The TD armoire story is one of my all time favorites. Have him tell it at least twice a year.

100% agree it’s not worth trading up. We have no idea how these guys are going to turn out. Some will be good for sure but to knowing what it will cost seems far too risky. I also have gone fully delusional and have convinced myself Kyle Trask is the move. I don’t care I just don’t want to watch Andy Dalton. I would also be fine with just drafting an OL. Either way my expectations for the bears season will most likely not be affected after the draft.

Let’s lock in for the final stretch for these bulls. I couldn’t be happier that they haven’t hit the 30 win mark yet. The fact that it’s going to be a tight finish makes every game that much more fun. And tonight we get to watch the bulls and d rose without needing two screens!
