Literally all game long you see something and think wow that was stupid how could he get any dumber and without fail he seems to one up himself every drive.
Sorry to kill the good vibes but I have some bitching to do but I will start with praise. If anyone cannot tell the incredible difference between Foles and Trubisky, stop watching football you don't get it. There were a good six times he threw the ball away or rushed a complete pass that would have had Trubisky sacked and fumbled. Not to mention the audibles and teaching.
Also, Jacobi, I as still mad at you for talking bad about my guy Cordarrell. I absolutely love it when he catches a kickoff and comes out of the endzone like a high speed train with no concern for his personal safety.
Nagy!?!? What in good gods name was he thinking at the end of that game? I hate when he pulls some hairbrained idea out of his ass and by some miracle it works because I know it encourages his moronic behavior. There is no logic to throwing twice down there. None. Lets see. Give the ball to Brady with 1:13 left needing a field goal or give it to him with 30 seconds left needing a field goal? Hmmm....
And watching Foles plead with him to pick up the pace as he was slicing through the Tampa defense while Nagy stared at his laminated play listing is just reason 101 why he is a hindrance to this team. We will never know if Trubisky was incapable or Nagy completely stunted his growth.
Lastly, I used to love Tom Brady until Deflategate. Watching that I said he was a little bitch. Watching him last night confirms my belief. Yelling at his teammates, yelling at Mack, not shaking Foles hand, not answering questions about the last series.....
Brent urban piece spot on! That dude made me stop drinking and question my current state. I’m on the edge of my seat biggest moment of the game and he’s dancing like we’re up by 50. Even made me think “are we up by 50?” Strange behavior! However, many say smart move because now thousands of SGCTC subscribers know his name?
LET US IN TO SOLDIER!!!! Not letting the 4th phasers in shows that Lori truly doesn't understand what makes this city go. After the booth review on Fullers forced fumble is when I really missed having fans at the game, you would have been able to hear the Bears faithful from Green Bay!!!! (We're coming for them). Hopefully James Daniels will be not have to miss any time because Alex Bars was getting his ass whipped out there.
Great point, and James Daniels has looked better this year than he has in years past, imo. I've never heard of a short-lived pec injury. Fingers crossed
HOW BOUT DEM BEARS!!! Now that that’s done we do have A LOT to correct. I absolutely hate relying on the defense to save us but with that said I am an absolute sucker for it too. Khalil and Akiem will always do what they do and we have yet to see Bobby Q at 100%. Jaylon keeps making plays but has improvement. Would like to see a little more out of Eddie J but he’s been solid most of the time in coverage and has been a reliable tackler who knows how to wrap up unlike Roquan. Ro seriously needs to figure it out. Where’s that dude that led the nation in tackles back to back years? Kyle fuller and he’s been solid ever since we drafted him with the exception of one year and the play he made is easily the biggest difference maker in the game.
I used to love Nagy and defend him whenever some friends would blame him. But this run game really needs to get going if we have any hope. I’m going to break my tv if I see another unsuccessful screen. With that said, I love the consistent downfield throws we have integrated into the system. Darnell is surprising us more and more every game and will soon jump Anthony Miller as a consistent number 2. Nick played well. We cannot expect him to jump into this system and throw for 300+ Every game. Even the interception was just unlucky. Great back shoulder throw and placement.

Great point all around. For one, I think Eddie Jackson is good enough and established enough now that he gets tested less, resulting in less pass break ups and interceptions. Roquan had some bad misses, but at least he's in the right positions, where as Trevathan -- unfortunately -- always seems to be out of place.
In regards to the screens, why are we the only team in professional football who can't capitalize off of a heavy rush and get yardage on a couple of them per game? It's actually insane. Can't run and can't screen.
GOOD MORNING CHICAGO! Let's fucking go. I don't have really anything to complain about I'm just happy to be here sharing this experience with you all. Nick Foles, you son of a bitch! After a few of the early missed throws I was nervous, but boy does that man turn it on at the right time. I still don't know what to make of David Montgomery. Why was the Bears rushing attack so good with Jordan Howard? I don't know. I don't know if we ever will. It drives me crazy when a team is running the ball for 5 yards per play on our great defense, I want to know how it feels to be on the other side of that.
I'm typically a Nagy supporter, and I just don't know how much longer I can do that for. If Nick Foles wants to run hurry up, god damnit let him march us down that field. I think the issue is rooted in Trubisky, honestly. Nagy is so used to having to walk his quarterback through every step of every drive that he doesn't know what to do with himself when their is a functioning brain under center.
Another note on Nagy - I liked that we threw the ball on that last drive. I've watched capable offenses ice games throwing the ball in those situations. Let's play to win a football game, not play scared, let Nick's hog get turf burn marching up and down that field.
Final note - is Troy Aikman a douche now? I hated him last night. Joe Buck too. I love those two and it might've just been a case of my blood pressure being through the roof watching the Bears and eating enough pizza to kill a man. I'm excited to listen to them Sunday and have a final verdict.
