Oh, I forgot, P Williams simply does not have the aggression necessary to succeed. I am confident that I could purposely and rudely shoulder him in a crowded space and he would apologize.

Pwill looked good in the preseason finale. 20, 5, and 5 Is exactly where we need him to be. Just like Jimmy butler in 14-15. That was his fourth year as well.

I understand that our scheme is technically a bend don't break defense. You will mostly see the bears just rush four and keep the rest in coverage. I get that it really helps to not be beat deep, however there are certain Quarterbacks who you must bring pressure to. Like Kirk Cousins and Carson Wentz. If they are under pressure, they make stupid decisions. I just do not know if the scheme is beneficial in games like this, but hey it keeps us in games I guess.

Completely agree. I don't think you should ever have one "system" that you adhere to. You have to adjust based on who you are playing and also based on how your offense is playing.

Let's win a ball game.

I will ask for everyone else. Which is the Y Axis and which is the X Axis? In regards to the Bears, Fields and Eberflus, I am completely on board with any coach who makes every game competitive even though he is playing with $100 MILION of Dead Cap Space. The man makes adjustments and he has the players buy in that they know what they are doing. Adjustments!!! Remember when Nagy would come out in the second half and do exactly what wasn't working in the first half? I am all in on Eberflus and will wait on Fields.

Some people need their phone ringer on and loud when they don't have it glued to their palm 24-7.

Jed Hoyer was clearly, in my mind, saying the Cubs are not doing 7-10 year contracts. We will not be in the Aaron Judge sweepstakes.

6:50 from Old town???? WHAT A MORON!

Bears first- I think that this has to be the game they let fields throw 25+ times. I am ALL about establishing the run, but if we can come close to replicating the second half against the Vikings, that would be fun to watch.

Agreed on Ayo. Absolutely love the guy and his defensive versatility. But if you were to take a look around the league, it would be hard to find a starting point guard with less natural playmaking ability. That being said, he is heading into his second season and we can hope for a leap. And maybe with Zach and Demar having a high usage rate, he could be a decent fit. I do think this season really boils down to the leap PWill makes.

No doubt, the Bulls are likely in the worst position at PG to begin the season, even with Dragic. I'd still -- as you know -- like Ayo or Zach bringing the ball up over DeMar. Anything but that.

You don't want Demar backing down from 85 feet?
