There have been a lot of pleasant surprises this season, but lately Javonte Green and Ayo coming off the bench have been the sweetest. Make that four top tier guard defenders who can disrupt anyone when you bring back Caruso and Lonzo.
And if you have four top-end perimeter defenders that’s all you can ask for against those guys. The only worry would be Embiid, but again, who has ever done a good job against him? The only problem there is strain, which is why another big is still probably a need. Even if Vuc holds his own, need more than one guy to take that burden on.
