If personal attacks were allowed, I'd call Trubisky a stupid, terrible quarterback with a glaring underbite. But, personal attacks are not allowed so I won't do that.

I'd line the team up and give them a fiery, teary-eyed speech about how they have ruined 2019 Sundays for me. Starting with the O-line, what the hell was that?! How do we trade up (again), to draft a running back that can hardly get back to the line of scrimmage? Without a line that can establish the running game, and a quarterback that cannot throw the ball downfield, defenses can have 11 guys within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage.

I'd let the team know that I have watched a lot of bad football in my day, but that was the worst performance I have ever seen. That's not an exaggeration either.

It has to feel great as a defense to force a 3 and out, run over to a fired up Chuck Pagano on the sideline (his reaction after one 3 and out is the only thing giving me any faith in this season) just to know you have to be back on the field in 4 plays. Christ.

Lol the offense gave the ball back twice within the last 2 minutes and 20 seconds of the half

If you have noticed, all of the running is right up the middle and our Middle Linebacker has become tentative and non-aggressive since his "episode". Not attacking the line. Need to put Kwiatowski in until Smith gets hungry again. Nagy needs to stop reading his own press clippings and realize he will be the one to taker the hit for this and lose his job. I heard Adam Shefter say this morning that he can't believe how Nagy continually puts Trubisky in a position to fail. 54 passes and 5 runs? Seriously?

Smith has been non-existent the last two weeks. Hope he's okay mentally. But maybe Kwiatkowski isn't a bad idea. Also, why is Eddie Goldman only out there on select downs? What did we pay him for?

Very late on the thread but i want to keep my streak of commenting every week going....i'll keep this short. If i was in the locker room i would echo what everyone has said in the thread, i don't think i have any discrepancies.

Also, I officially miss Jordan Howard. The guy was a bulldog and i think Montgomery was way too hyped up. Yeah, the O-Line STINKS but give me Jordan all day to get us 4+ YPC

I miss him too, Chris.

Matt Nagy simply cannot call plays for the Chicago Bears going forward if this is gonna be a 5 win team, let alone a playoff team we all hoped they’d be. It’s a fucking joke that he was labeled an “offensive minded coach.” John Foxs dumb fucking face produced a better offense than what we had to sit thru yesterday. Mitch Trubisky has regressed more than I thought was humanly possible and Anthony Miller won’t shut up after routinely making shithead plays. Does anyone have medication for high blood pressure?

Amen brother. Amen. Let it out. Shh shh shh. We're here for you. But seriously, I think Nagy should hand over the play calling to Brad Childress.

Why do you lean Childress over Helfrich?

Just because he has a ton of play calling experience in the NFL and Helfrich has none. Either way, a little change of pace couldn't hurt.

It’s actually comical. I would say I have lost hope for the season but I’m not there yet. Idgaf how hard their schedule is, if the bears play well they can beat any team on their schedule besides maybe on the road in Green Bay. That being said, holy fuck was that the worst sporting experience I’ve had since rizzo did that dumbass “hands on head shit.” I’m still on team Nagy, he’s dealing with a QB who THREW IT AWAY ON 4th down. But also part of me wants to ask that bald headed fuck how he somehow has created a worse version of Mitch than we saw last year.

You don’t fix a run game mid season. This is a result of unintended consequences making trades to weaken the run game thinking a more elusive rookie RB and a (fingers crossed) healthy Oline can replicate their run game of last year. They need to spend more time perfecting run blocking and evaluating defenses and making checks mid game to open opportunities to run the ball. Without a threat to run, you have nothing.

when it's all said and done this offense will go down in history as one of the worst of all time. People need to stop searching for answers as to why this team is under performing. They aren't under performing, they just flat out suck ASS. Mitch's brain never developed after his 4th birthday and the guy calling the plays is a stubborn ignorant asshole who refuses to change up the game plan. Until one of those things changes, don't expect this team to start winning. oh and does khalil mack still play for the Bears? good riddance .

Roppy Chop Man, I hear you. I wouldn't blame Khalil Mack for anything yet. We got two sentences before a personal attack was launched but I was ready for it.

I'm still trying to process what I watched yesterday evening. The defense is completely screwed without akiem hicks, they ran the ball down our throats. Kahlil Mack is triple teamed every play and Leonard Floyd is a damn bum. Dont know where to go from here, Can we go back to the bye week?

And for my message to the team "you embarrassed the 4th phase...in front of Troy"

If Floyd hadn't gotten in a scuffle yesterday, you could have told me he didn't play and I would've believed you.

I would add Tariq Cohen to the list of those that could leave the room. He wanted to fight(and maybe run backwards a couple of more times). My message would be simple. "You are now a joke to the rest of the NFL and only one thing ends that joke. Go home and find some heart and bring it in with you on Tuesday."

Excellent piece on Luol Deng. There was nothing better than watching the Bulls absolutely shut down teams in the fourth quarter. I miss those days.
