Idk if anyone else was getting pissed, but with like 24 minutes left of gameplay, Booger (who I cannot stand) kept acting like the game was over. Granted the bears D went to more of a prevent style in second half, but redskins were slicing them up pretty easily and I was not comfortable with that lead until Keenum three that pic. If they scored that TD, Mitch goes 3 and out, defense is tired as fuck, and I was convinced they were scoring again. Butttt their defense put points on the board and that’s the best version of this team. Mitch still blows while being surrounded by a variety of skill sets/weapons that any other QB would be blessed to have. B flat B
It was so frustrating but kind of hilarious in retrospect. Legit down two scores driving and booger keeps saying “the Bears D shut them down tonight, they’ll go to 2-1”
I cannot stand listening to Booger. Saw a funny tweet that said "After 39 years of life, I've decided to learn Spanish so that I can watch the game on ESPN Desportes. Anything not to listen to Booger"
I think the general feeling of this game would've been entirely more optimistic if Mitch connected with Robinson on that disgusting underthrow. Learn and move forward, feel good coming home against the Vikes although Dalvin Cook could give us some trouble especially if Hicks is out.
Defense A-:Should have kept the foot on the gas in the second half but overall a great performance. More turnover than any game last year i believe??
Offense B-: Solid game for Mitch, a few iffy throws but I think we're also a little too critical. He did his job out there and hopefully this is a turning point for him to at least be more consistent. I still think we need to feed Montgomery more.
I’m an emotional guy I can’t help it. How can you give the bears defense a B-, they had 5 turnovers. What do they need to do for an A? No longer taking bets on 4-12, just booked my hotel in Miami for the February 2nd weekend. Who are we beating in the super bowl?
The only real drive Trubisky put together was at the end of the half with a beautiful throw to Gabriel. Just missed Miller on a wheel route and over threw a wide opened Montgomery (I believe it was a slant) in Redskins territory. The pick in the red zone ruined a solid performance IMO. I think we should be giving the ball to Montgomery more instead of handing the ball of to Patterson in I-formation. He is a receiver. Give him some jet sweeps Devin Hester style and let the man out run everyone on the field. Overall, an improvement from the last 2 weeks. I am excited to see if they can build on this for next week.
Defense: A-
Turnovers were huge. I don’t understand how you can go offsides so many times in a single game. I also thought we looked tired in the second half for the second week in a row. Despite the negatives, we still held the Redskins to 15 points and came up with plenty of turnovers. That’s what great defenses do. Solid performance.
Best overall game to date which isn’t saying much. Woulda liked to see a more punishing second half, but after the offensive shitshow the first 2 weeks I’ll certainly take it. Injuries are going to be a real concern going forward.
Please notice Andrew's passive aggressive attempt at keeping his old man from complaining. "We all wish the Bears kept their foot on the accelerator." That second half was mind numbingly annoying. That "bend don't break" defense and Nagy putting the clamps back on Trubisky for the second half.
If the starters had played at least a quarter a game in the preseason, maybe they wouldn't look gassed EVERY 4th Quarter.

Defense A+. Second half was bullshit
Offense B- great balance out there last night. Mitch looked pretty ok out there.
Special teams A+ Just because Eddie piniero is a mutha fuckin beast. Who gives a shit he missed a field goal
We should start drafting strictly Alabama defenders. #builtbybama
Jacob, you sound more reactionary than me and that's scary. If we drafted all Alabama defenders, we would lose to Clemson. You still betting on 4-12?

I will give them an A when they don't give up 25 First Downs and almost 300 Yards to a shitbag Offense and our starters can play the whole game.
Offense: C+

Defense definitely were tired in the second half, and that was even after some second-string guys took over for a bit in the third quarter.

I agree with this. That was very annoying.
